Description
Promenade d'Opatija is a scenic, 12-kilometer-long seaside promenade connecting the charming fishing village of Volosko with Lovran.
Built between 1889 and 1911 for Emperor Franz Joseph I, it offers breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea and nearby islands.
During your walk, you'll see impressive Belle Époque-style villas, marinas, charming cafes and iconic sculptures, including the famous 'Girl with a Seagull' - the symbol of Opatija. Discover hidden coves, beaches and historic sites such as Villa Angiolina with its park full of exotic plants.
