Castle viewpoint

Castle viewpoint is a unique place with a rich history dating back to prehistoric times. Built by the Croatian noble family of Frankopan, this medieval castle from the 13th century offers breathtaking views of Rijeka and the Adriatic Sea.

From the vantage point you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city, the island of Krk and the Rječina River valley. The site is also a cultural center, hosting concerts, theatrical performances and fashion shows.

There is an outdoor cafe on the castle grounds where you can relax and enjoy the spectacular views. The former dungeons of the castle now serve as an exhibition space.
