Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding

Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is a unique place where you can enjoy the world's largest captive population of giant pandas - some 237 individuals of various ages!

The base was established in 1987 and designed to mimic the natural habitat of these adorable animals. In addition to giant pandas, rare red pandas and other species of animals can also be seen here.

For education enthusiasts, there is the Great Panda Museum and Panda Tower, where you can learn about the biology and conservation of these fascinating creatures. A special attraction are the baby pandas, which delight all visitors.
