Description
Huiling Tomb is the historic resting place of Liu Bei, the first ruler of the Shu State, who died in 223. The tomb, surrounded by a circular ancient brick wall, is distinguished by its simplicity and modesty - the earth covering the burial site is only 12 meters deep.
The site is part of the Wuhou Temple complex in Chengdu and is surrounded by dense pine and cypress trees that have inspired historical poems. Walking among these centuries-old trees, one can feel the atmosphere of ancient China and be transported back to the time of the Three Kingdoms.
This is the perfect place for lovers of history, Chinese culture and quiet, contemplative spaces.
