Description
Tiantai Mountain is a 5A national tourist attraction in Sichuan Province, known as the 'No. 1 Landscape in Western Sichuan'. It is famous for its spectacular peaks, unusual rock formations and beautiful waterfalls, including the 40-meter Xiangshuitan.
It is one of the eight best places in the world to observe skylights, with more than 20 species of these insects. The area, covered by 94.4% primary forest, offers clean air rich in negative ions.
The mountain combines Buddhist heritage with the history of the Long March of the Red Army, creating a unique combination of nature, culture and history.
