Description
The Renmin Bridge is the second oldest road bridge in Guangzhou, crossing the scenic Pearl River. Built in 1967, it connects Haizhu and Liwan districts, offering 9 lanes for vehicles.
The bridge offers breathtaking views of the city skyline, especially in the evening when the structure is beautifully illuminated.
It's also a great place to watch the traditional dragon boat races that take place annually between Renmin Bridge and Jiefang Bridge. Nearby is the charming Shamian Island, known for its colonial architecture.
