The Chengdu Library is a modern architectural gem with a distinctive orange-red porcelain and glass facade. Its unique design includes a central atrium with a circular skylight and a water installation created from 120 water curtains, creating a mysterious space for meditation and concentration.
The library's interior offers 2,400 seats for readers and 600 computer workstations. The minimalist structure without columns is supported by a steel truss and string system, and curved glass as a curtain wall system creates a strong visual connection with the surrounding landscape.
