Chemin du calvaire

Chemin du calvaire is a unique hiking trail in Megève, combining religious history with natural beauty.

Built between 1840 and 1878, the trail is decorated with 15 small chapels and oratories depicting the Stations of the Cross. Here you'll find some 50 life-size wooden sculptures and frescoes of various architectural styles.

The 1.8-kilometer route takes about an hour to complete and offers breathtaking views of the Arly Valley and the Mont Blanc foothills. A particularly magical place is the Creux Saint-Jean with its waterfall and small stone bridge.
