avatarCharles Pellicci4 weeks agoExcellent Stay – Great for Tesla Owners! Our stay was excellent! The king suite with kitchenette was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed by the receptionist and all the staff – their hospitality made a real difference. A major plus for us was the convenience of your 8 Tesla destination charging stations. It made charging our Tesla incredibly easy and stress-free. We'll definitely be back!
avatarIsa Perard2 months agoI’ve dreamed of doing a mud bath for years, but this experience at Calistoga Spa Hot Springs was deeply disappointing and honestly a bit upsetting. Despite booking a mud bath service, we were charged an additional $50 each just to access the pools—which were underwhelming and felt more like standard hotel pools than anything spa-worthy. The spa environment lacked all the basics you’d expect for a relaxing experience: no calming music, no tranquil atmosphere, and no thoughtful amenities. The robes were thin and flimsy. The mud bath treatment itself was underwhelming. It takes place in a concrete room with stainless steel tubs full of thick mud. You spend 10 minutes in the smelly mud, then rinse off in a shower for 5 minutes, followed by a 10-minute soak in a tiny whirlpool tub (too small to stretch your legs, even if you’re 5’6”), then a 5-minute steam room, and finally you lay down for 15 minutes under a wool blanket on a bunk type bed. You certainly won’t lose track of time because a loud, obnoxious, bell goes off (like a school bell) to let you know your time is up. Nothing about this experience felt relaxing or restorative. It felt rushed, uncomfortable, and lacking any of the sensory care you’d expect from a spa. For the price and reputation, I expected so much more. I won’t be back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a true wellness experience.
avatarNatasha Bacci3 months agoOverpriced and disappointing. Bare bones and old facilities. Front desk woman was very rude. I had a massage at noon, which was after check-out, and she said my husband would have to pay $50 if he was going to wait for me by the pool for an hour, even though we just paid $400 to stay there. Massage was not great, I had to ice my neck afterwards. FYI they automatically charge 20% tip on all services. Spa facilities were like tired gym locker room. The pools are ok but a bit dirty. Maybe worth a day pass if you're just looking for a pool, but wouldn't recommend a stay or the spa. Probably a great place for kids. It is right downtown which is convenient for walking into town but sometimes noisy.
