Narodowa Galeria Sztuki

The National Art Gallery in Sofia is a true jewel of Bulgarian culture. It is housed in a 19th century royal palace, which is a work of art in itself.

The gallery boasts an impressive collection of more than 50,000 works, including 4,000 icons. Chronologically arranged expositions allow one to trace the development of Bulgarian art from the National Revival period to modern times.

In 2015, the gallery was expanded, creating 28 exhibition halls on four levels. It is the ideal place for art and history lovers who want to immerse themselves in Bulgaria's rich cultural heritage.
