Basilique de la Visitation

Basilique de la Visitation is a unique sacred gem in the heart of Annecy. Founded in 1610 by Saints Francis de Sales and Joan de Chantal, this impressive basilica combines elements of Gothic and Romanesque styles.

The 72-meter-high bell tower topped by a 7-meter-high bronze cross is a distinctive landmark. In the side aisles, bronze sarcophagi of the founding saints can be admired, while beautiful stained glass windows tell their story.
