Basilica of Our Lady of Knock, Queen of Ireland

The Basilica of Our Lady of Knock, Queen of Ireland is an impressive temple that can accommodate as many as 10,000 worshippers.

Built in a modern style in 1976, it impresses with a spectacular mosaic depicting the 1879 apparition, consisting of 1.5 million individual pieces made in Italy.

It is a place of unique spiritual significance that attracts more than 1.5 million pilgrims each year. The basilica is part of a larger shrine complex that also includes the Chapel of Apparitions, the old parish church and the Chapel of Reconciliation.
