Baklandet Skydsstation

Baklandet Skydsstation is a charming restaurant in Trondheim, located in one of the best preserved buildings of the Baklandet district.

The restaurant is famous for its traditional Norwegian dishes, such as fish soup, reindeer stew and herring. A special attraction is the impressive collection of more than 350 types of aquavit.

The restaurant's interior, with its tight wooden decor, takes guests back in time to bygone eras. In 2012, National Geographic named the place 'Cafe of the Year,' recognizing its unique charm and authenticity.
