Backwater Artists Group

Backwater Artists Group is a unique art space housed in a historic three-storey warehouse in the heart of Cork. Founded in 1990 by graduates of Crawford College of Art & Design, it is a key part of the city's cultural landscape.

The group offers high-quality, affordable studios for artists, as well as access to a photographic darkroom, digital studio and carpentry shop. Studio 12's exhibition space presents both solo and group exhibitions, allowing artists to show their work to a wider audience.

It is a place teeming with creativity, where history meets contemporary art.
