Description
Grazer Landhaus is a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture, built between 1557 and 1565 by Italian architect Domenico dell'Aglio. It is currently the seat of Styria's parliament.
The building impresses with its impressive arcaded courtyard, considered one of the most beautiful in Europe, where various cultural events are held. Photo enthusiasts will appreciate the richly decorated facades, copper gargoyles dating back to the 16th century and a Mannerist bronze fountain.
The interiors hide Baroque furnishings, including beautiful stucco ceilings and a chapel with a black-and-gold Jesuit-style altar. It's the perfect place for history and architecture enthusiasts.
