The Big Mango

The Big Mango is an impressive 10-meter tall sculpture depicting the Kensington Pride variety of mango, a symbol of Bowen's agricultural success in Queensland.

Erected in 2002 as part of a community campaign, this landmark tourist attraction offers breathtaking views of the Whitsunday coastline.

In the area around the sculpture, visitors can admire the works of local sculptors, and enjoy delicious sorbet ice cream made from local mangoes at the adjacent Tourist Information Center. The site is pet-friendly, with a separate area for dogs.
