Carclew

Carclew is a unique art gallery housed in a historic 1897 mansion designed by renowned architect John Quintin Bruce. This federated sandstone building, with its distinctive three-story tower, offers an unusual blend of history and contemporary art.

Since 1971, it has functioned as Australia's premier arts center for youth, offering art programs, workshops and talent development opportunities. During the annual South Australian History Festival, visitors can tour the interiors, including the ballroom, morning saloon and library added in 1908.
