Shiraz Trail is an 8km walking and biking trail in the McLaren Vale wine region of South Australia. Running along a former railroad line, it offers flat terrain ideal for families and exercise enthusiasts alike.
The route enjoys scenic views of the vineyards and surrounding hills. During the ride, you can stop at numerous wineries, such as Battle of Bosworth and Wirra Wirra Wines, to sample local wines.
For those thirsty for longer hikes, the Shiraz Trail connects to other trails, including the 35-kilometer Coast to Vines Rail Trail.
