RMIT A'Beckett Urban Square

RMIT A'Beckett Urban Square is a vibrant recreational space in the heart of Melbourne that was created on the site of a former parking lot. This unique $1.2 million project was designed by Peter Elliott Architecture + Urban Design and completed in 2014.

It offers multi-purpose sports fields for basketball and volleyball, ping-pong tables, barbecue areas and Wi-Fi access. Distinctive, bold colors and pavement graphics clearly separate the active areas from the relaxation areas, creating an engaging urban theater experience.
