Government House Billiard Room

Government House Billiard Room is a unique venue in the heart of Melbourne with its historic ambiance and elegance. An octagonal wooden roof with skylight windows provides natural light over a full-size Alcock 'John Roberts' billiard table - a prototype introduced in 1867.

The room is decorated with portraits of former governors and commemorative items, including shovels used to plant trees by members of the royal family. The room serves a variety of functions, from a meeting place to an alternative reception space.
