Bay Run and Hawthorne Canal Ride

Bay Run and Hawthorne Canal Ride is a scenic 7km route along the shores of Iron Cove, offering unforgettable views of the Parramatta River. It is ideal for cyclists, runners and walkers of all ages.

The two-lane path provides safety for both pedestrians and cyclists. The route passes points of interest such as the Drummoyne Rowing Club, Thompson's Wharf Marina and the Bicycle Tree sculpture at Blackmore Oval.

Along the way there are information boards about local Aboriginal culture and the region's ecology. Recent upgrades have added new rest areas and an outdoor gym to the route.
