Description
Waite Conservation Reserve is a unique nature reserve managed by the University of Adelaide. Established in 1913 through a donation by Peter Waite, it offers an unforgettable experience for nature lovers.
The reserve is famous for its unique trails, including the Wildlife Orienteering Trail and the Loop Trail and Sheoak Loop Trail. The butterfly, bee and bird gardens and the historic avenue of 68 English elm trees planted in 1928 are a delight.
It's a place where you can admire more than 50 species of flowering trees that attract a variety of birds, and enjoy the tranquility amidst lush vegetation and fascinating history.
