Description
Point Halloran Conservation Area is an enchanting nature reserve that delights with a variety of ecosystems. Walking along wooden footbridges and paths, you'll discover picturesque woodlands and wetlands that are home to colorful birds, including herons, fringe geese and various species of ibis.
The area is also famous for its bat colonies and unique salt marshes that attract wading birds. Two walking trails, including one about 650 meters long, lead through the changing vegetation - from swamp forests to mixed forests and mangrove mudflats.
