Karawatha Forest South

Karawatha Forest South is one of Brisbane's largest forest reserves, encompassing some 900 hectares of diverse natural habitats. It is a nature lover's paradise with numerous walking and biking trails ranging from 1 to 2.5 kilometers in length.

At the heart of the forest is a Discovery Center with interactive exhibits about local flora and fauna and a natural playground for children. The site also offers picnic and barbecue areas, ideal for family recreation.

The forest is home to endangered species of animals and plants, making it a unique place to observe wildlife.
