Description

Coombabah Lakelands Conservation Area is a remarkable nature reserve covering more than 1,200 hectares, offering a variety of habitats including wetlands, eucalyptus forests, salt marshes and mangroves.

It's a paradise for nature lovers and birdwatchers, where 274 species of animals can be found, including koalas, kangaroos and endangered species. The area is recognized by the Ramsar Convention as a site of global importance for 24 species of migratory birds.

The flat, well-maintained trails are ideal for families, fitness enthusiasts and photographers. Footbridges lead through mangroves, offering a scenic journey and insight into a variety of bird species.
