Description
Ithaca Memorial Park is a unique memorial dedicated to the fallen soldiers of World War I. At the heart of the park is an imposing clock tower designed by Arthur Henry Thurlow and topped by a sandstone sphere.
The park was carefully designed by Alexander Jolly, a well-known Ithaca City Council gardener. Mature fig trees and picturesque paths create a peaceful oasis, ideal for reflection and relaxation.
The park offers beautiful views of the surrounding area, making it a great place for a peaceful stroll. In 1992, the park was added to the Queensland Heritage Register, highlighting its historical and cultural significance.
