Submariners Walk Heritage Trail

Submariners Walk Heritage Trail is a unique historical trail commemorating Australian and American submarine sailors stationed in Teneriffe during World War II.

Along the approximately 600-meter-long trail, you'll find 26 historic buildings and commemorative plaques dedicated to the men, the ships and their service. A distinctive feature is the submarine-shaped benches where you can sit and reflect.

The path runs along the original location of the U.S. Navy's operations and maintenance base, from where five American submarines set sail and never returned.
