Naala Badu

Naala Badu is a unique art gallery whose name means 'seeing waters' in the Sydney language. Designed by Japanese architects SANAA, it is part of the Sydney Modern project, which transformed the Art Gallery of New South Wales into a world-class museum.

As Australia's first public art gallery with 6 Star Green Star certification, Naala Badu stands out for its sustainable design. The doubled exhibition space offers an immersive art experience, and a special Yiribana Gallery showcases Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art.
