Harrington Street Gallery

Harrington Street Gallery is a unique art space with a rich history dating back to 1973, founded by artist John Ogburn. The gallery was created for young and emerging artists to display their work here without commercial restrictions.

What sets the place apart is its independence - it has never applied for government grants, relying on volunteer help. It initially exhibited works in Sydney's Rocks district, and has been operating in Chippendale since 1986.

The gallery offers a variety of exhibitions, being a platform for both emerging and established artists. It is an ideal venue for contemporary and local art lovers.
