Melbourne Food Hub

Melbourne Food Hub is a unique community hub that builds a resilient local food system. The site combines an urban farm, where fresh produce is grown, with a professional kitchen available to local culinary entrepreneurs.

A farmers' market is held weekly, attracting thousands of visitors and 35 producers from Victoria. The center also offers workshops, including popular classes on creating understory gardens, and composting and earthworm farming programs.

It is not only a gathering place for healthy food lovers, but also an initiative that supports social justice by creating employment pathways for people from marginalized communities.
