Trampe Bicycle Lift

Trampe Bicycle Lift is a unique attraction in Trondheim, being the world's first bicycle elevator. Installed in 1993, it helps cyclists climb the city's steep hills effortlessly.

All you have to do is put your right foot on the starting platform, press a button and let the elevator elevator you up the hill at a speed of 1.5-2 meters per second. The system can handle five cyclists simultaneously.
