Description
Borgo Lussari is a charming mountain village located at 1789 meters above sea level in the Julian Alps.
This magical place, where three cultures - Italian, Slovenian and Austrian - meet, offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Alps.
The heart of the village is the 14th-century Sanctuary of Madonna del Lussari, an important pilgrimage site. In summer you can explore the numerous hiking trails, and in winter you can enjoy 20 km of ski slopes.
The village can be reached by a scenic 15-minute cable car ride or a 1.5-hour trek.
