Turner Contemporary

Turner Contemporary is a unique art gallery inspired by the life and work of JMW Turner, located on the Margate coast.

The modern building, designed by David Chipperfield, impresses with its six crystalline volumes and large windows looking out to sea. The glass facade reflects light, giving the structure an almost luminous appearance.

The gallery offers a changing program of exhibitions combining historical and contemporary art. It is a center of excellence in creative education, helping thousands of children, young people and families discover art.
