Description

Ardastra Gardens & Wildlife Conservation Center is a 4-acre tropical garden and wildlife conservation center in the heart of Nassau, famous for its unique show of marching flamingos—the national bird of the Bahamas.

The facility is home to over 135 animals, 70% of which are rescued or rehabilitated. Here you can encounter African servals, Bahamian boas, colorful macaws and lorikeets, which you can feed yourself. The tropical gardens, designed in 1937, delight visitors with coconut palms, orchids, and bougainvillea.
